Home to two of the world\u2019s top-five universities for life sciences and with a substantial share of European life-science start-ups, the UK is an extremely attractive market, with demand currently outstripping supply.<\/p>\n<p>The UK government is also fully committed to the sector&#8217;s development, having announced<strong> \u00a3200m of investment <\/strong>through the Life Sciences Investment Programme and, in the private sector, more than <strong>\u00a39.5bn<\/strong> <strong>has been invested by venture capitalists<\/strong> over the past two years.
