Tier one contractors Kier, Morgan Sindall and Tilbury Douglas have gained places on a major decarbonisation framework.<\/p>\n

The four-year agreement from Pagabo will cover decarbonisation works across all sectors in the UK except the healthcare sector, which was covered in a separate Pagabo framework announced earlier this<\/a> month.<\/p>\n

Work will include the installation of specialist heating, cooling and ventilation systems; installation of renewable energy sources; fabric upgrades; installation of energy saving lighting; and replacement of inefficient glazing.<\/p>\n

The supplier agreement is divided into four lots based on value. They, in turn, are divided into 12 sub-lots based on geographic region. Hull City Council is the contracting authority, although the work covers the whole UK.<\/p>\n

Lot one will be for work worth up to \u00a31m; lot two for work valued between \u00a31m and \u00a35m; lot three for work valued between \u00a35m and \u00a315m; and lot four for work worth more than \u00a315m.<\/p>\n

Kier<\/a>, Tilbury Douglas<\/a> and Morgan Sindall<\/a> all took spots on lots two, three, and four, while Willmott Dixon<\/a> and ISG<\/a> feature on lots three and four.<\/p>\n

A total of 56 firms \u2013 including 32 SMEs \u2013 were appointed to the framework.<\/p>\n

Pagabo chief procurement officer Jason Stapley said: \u201cDecarbonisation is a specialist service, meaning that it was more important than ever to ensure the very best businesses were identified, which includes various SMEs in addition to some of the larger organisations too.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the growing focus on the role decarbonisation has to play in working towards and meeting net -zero goals, we know that this framework \u2013 and its healthcare sister offering \u2013 will be well-utilised by clients, helping them to meet their individual goals while working towards bigger-picture goals at the same time.\u201d<\/p>\n
