With 80 per cent of the buildings that will exist in 2050 already built, retrofitting is essential to achieving decarbonisation goals.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first-ever<\/span> CN RE:NEW Retrofit in Focus 2025<\/span><\/a> conference is your chance to hear from and meet key players operating in the area.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event, to be held at London\u2019s Kia Oval on 18 November, will see key stakeholders from the public and private sectors discuss how we could accelerate the UK\u2019s retrofit efforts in construction and engineering.<\/span><\/p>\n

Confirmed speakers include Anna Scothern, chief executive of the National Home Improvement Council, and Alison Nicholl, head of constructing excellence at BRE.<\/span><\/p>\n

Client representatives such as Watford Borough Council chief executive Donna Nolan and property developer Related Argent\u2019s sustainability director, Jamie Quinn, will also be offering their expertise, as will those who work for contractors, including Morgan Sindall Construction\u2019s head of carbon and environment, Timothy Clement.<\/span><\/p>\n

Expert analysts like Glenigan economics director Allan Wil\u00e9n will also be on hand. Wil\u00e9n will explain what the data shows about the current retrofit picture in the UK and key areas for improvement.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event has been assessed by The CPD Group, meaning by attending the conference you can earn CPD points towards your professional development.<\/span><\/p>\n
