Administrators from EY have extended their oversight of ISG\u2019s collapsed businesses to September 2026 \u2013 taking it to two years after the group filed for administration.<\/p>\n

Documents filed with Companies House this week show that the administrators for EY now have another year to work on the financial affairs of eight ISG companies they are administering.<\/p>\n

The firms are ISG Central Services Ltd, ISG Construction Ltd, ISG Engineering Services Ltd, ISG Fit Out Ltd, ISG Interior Services Group UK Ltd, ISG Jackson Ltd, ISG Retail Ltd and ISG UK Retail Ltd.<\/p>\n

The administration of these firms has been extended to 19 September 2026, two years to the day after CN<\/em> broke the news<\/a> that the companies had filed for administration.<\/p>\n

In April, EY reported it had already spent 10,469 staffing hours on the case \u2013 just six months in. It expected the process to take \u201csome years to fully conclude\u201d, citing the complexity of construction debt recovery and \u201csignificant contractual counterclaims\u201d.<\/p>\n

ISG\u2019s records include more than 800 terabytes of data that EY must work through as part of its investigations.<\/p>\n

Last month, a CN<\/em> investigation revealed<\/a> that lawyers acting for six ISG subcontractors had threatened the Ministry of Justice with legal action over unpaid money they say is owed on former ISG prison projects.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
