Willmott Dixon is eyeing record framework-related turnover in 2025, the tier one contractor has announced.<\/p>\n

The \u00a31.1bn-turnover firm, which was ranked 18th in the latest CN100 index of top UK contractors<\/a>, said it had secured more than \u00a3700m of framework business for 2025.<\/p>\n

Two frameworks were extended in H1: Procurement Hub\u2019s Major Projects to 2028, and Pagabo Major Works to 2027.<\/p>\n

This year \u201cis set to be a record year for turnover generated by our largest frameworks, with further growth projected for 2026\u201d, Willmott Dixon said.<\/p>\n

In its interim financial results this morning (14 October), the firm<\/a> revealed stable turnover and pre-tax profit for the six months to 30 June.<\/p>\n

Revenue of \u00a3548.1m was down slightly on the \u00a3561.1m recorded in H1 2024.<\/p>\n

Profit remained the same at \u00a310m, although Willmott Dixon described \u201cconsistent profit delivery across all parts of the business\u201d based on selective bidding \u2013 or \u201csmart contract selection\u201d, as chief executive Graham Dundas put it.<\/p>\n

The contractor ended H1 with a secured order book and pipeline worth more than \u00a33bn, including \u201cover \u00a31bn of potential main contract conversions\u201d.<\/p>\n

Willmott Dixon\u2019s balance sheet remained debt-free and it ended the half-year with \u00a3122m of cash at hand, up from \u00a3109.3m on H1 2024.<\/p>\n

Contract wins in the six months to 30 June included a \u00a348.8m redevelopment job (pictured) at Queen Mary University\u2019s School of Business and Management in London, and a \u00a332m Grade A office development in Doncaster.<\/p>\n

The firm said that more than \u00a31bn of preconstruction work secured in 2025 was \u201cpositioned for main contract conversion\u201d.<\/p>\n

It described a \u201cparticularly strong\u201d performance in the education sector with \u201cthe most contract wins of any framework partner in the past 12 months\u201d.<\/p>\n

Willmott Dixon was the ninth-largest contractor by Department for Education spend in 2024\/25<\/a>.<\/p>\n
